I am a member of the international trade association for integrated solution-focused psychotherapy and personality development (ILP V) and I offer different forms of counselling:
Coaching
The focus in my coaching sessions is to support your aims and to
find ways of achieving them. These could be how
to achieve a more
healthy Work-Life balance, life satisfaction, or of a professional nature. You may want to
work on a self steered
improvement of perception and self-reflection. With the focus on
your strengths and (maybe still unrecognized) resources, we will
compile solid and realistic aims. More...
Life counselling
Now, here you are, with no idea of how to move on. Maybe
this is the right time to turn to somebody who can be a signpost.
The aim of my life counselling is to enable you to come out of the
crisis
stronger. Our focus is directed strictly forwards, i.e. to where you
would like to go. With the help of your unique abilities and strengths,
again you can become your own expert for your own life, luck and
satisfaction. More...
Couple counselling
Whether it is an enduring or an acute crisis; couples come because
they suffer and don't know the way out. Often this expresses itself
by frequent quarrelling (mostly because of the same things), lack of
closeness, communication problems, jealousy, financial problems or
sexual difficulties. In the couple counselling sessions we will concentrate
on the first common issue given by you; this allows us to
formulate aims within the partnership and to break through the rigid
communication patterns with lasting effect. More...
Psychotherapy
Instead of concentrating on a diagnosis, we will find
ways and solutions which allow you to deal with your condition.
Your personal strengths and resources are in the foreground
instead of your problems
These strengths will support and enable you to recognise
and experience happiness again. Negative mental patterns will be
substituted with positive self-images and convictions. The energy
which has been taken away from you will be led back positively
through systemic interventions. More...
Autonomy training
Using the same
(and often devastating) behaviour in stressful situations over and over again. Does this sound
familiar? Often, we
depend too much on things or people. We worry, to the
extent that we cannot see the wood for the trees, or our self
doubts prevent us from reaching our aims and wishes. In my work
with you we will uncover these automatic behavioral traps and compile
strategies to counter them.

Psychosomatics intervention
'It hits me in the stomach' 'I am under constant pressure', 'This really gets under my skin', ...
these are all phrases which are well-known to
us. The head, the feelings and the body all belong together and do
not wish to be handled independently. If one of these is neglected or
ignored, the body often announces itself as the last authority. The
body speaks a clear and often painful language which you cannot
ignore easily. We will use the positive mutual influnece of body and
mind to improve your health. More...
What makes my work stand out?
In all of my counselling services I retreat from the usual approach to
counselling by focussing mainly on the present and
future; I do not analyse the past. Although I am convinced (as are
most psychotherapists) that source of our significant problems
lie in the past, I believe that you can develop strategies
and tools yourself to master your own life, even if this may well
be against all the odds. You can focus on the solution without being
fixated with the problem.
I work in a solution-focused way. Together with you, I will compile
individual solutions for your problems which precisely fit your
strengths, resources and your personality. When I use my
interventions you are my frame of reference. My therapeutic work is
supported by elements of Steve de Shazer and Milton Erickson's
solution focused brief therapy, NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming)
and systemic intervention. More to my work...
